Bollore has developed an Oxo-biodegradable shrink film and is now in a position to address the challenge of managing the packaging waste system.
Bolphane® BYO is formulated to be totally degradable. At the end of its life, through oxidation, the film disintegrates and ends up into components which are bio-assimilated by soil micro-organisms.
Moreover, the technical properties of the Bolphane ® BYO provide excellent machine characteristics and offers identical performance properties as compared to conventional shrink films found in the marketplace.
As with the entire Bolphane® product range through performing down gauging and lower energy consumption, the development of BYO further highlights Bollore’s commitment to the environment.
