Shrinkfilm Product Safety
With increased focus on product safety throughout the food chain, it is important for all associated products, including packaging materials, to be as free from physical, biological or chemical contamination as is possible, using FDA and USDA published Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). We at Bollore Inc. take this responsibility very seriously, as outlined in our Shrinkfilm Product Safety Policy below. That is why we are periodically audited by outside organizations for compliance to the following:
- Bollore Inc. is annually inspected by AIB International for compliance to their Food-Contact Packaging Manufacturing Facility standard. We are proud to have achieved a 920/1000 rating in our last inspection. Here is our certificate:
- In 2009, Bollore Inc. became certified to the international standard ISO 22000:2005 (Food safety management systems). Here is our certificate:

SHRINKFILM PRODUCT SAFETY POLICY
It is the policy of Bollore Incorporated to always provide our Shrink Film customers with products that are free from any physical, chemical, or biological agent that would risk contamination, when used in direct-contact food or overwrap pharmaceutical packaging applications.
Protocols are in place for management, communication, pest control, cleaning, operations, and maintenance, as defined by FDA regulations, as well as standards issued by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) for food-contact packaging manufacturing operations, and by ISO22000:2005. All processes are annually audited by outside organizations to certify compliance to these standards.

USA FDA compliance - All Bolphane shrinkfilms comply with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 and/or 21 CFR 177.1350, allowing use for the packaging of foods at temperature of 150 degrees and below.
